Wedge Tomb @ Parknabinnia, Burren National Park, Co. Clare

This type of tomb were built around four thousand years ago, at around the start of the Bronze Age (planning permission was a bit easier to get in Co. Clare in those days). Actually, there are very few houses (even ruins) along this road. Originally, this tomb would have been covered with soil and smaller stones, some of which are still scattered around the tomb.
