On the other side of the road from the Ó Dálaigh memorial is this cottage, in the process of being thatched. It's a great spot to have a house, and it is so encouraging to see someone using traditional Irish crafts and design (thatching & cut limestone) to ensure a continuity with what has gone before as well as a visually pleasing dwelling.
