Abbey Hill, The Burren, Co. Clare

The cairn on the summit of Abbey Hill affords some welcome shelter on a windy day. There's a wonderful view from the top on a clear day - you can see the Twelve Bens, all of Galway Bay and bac towards Kinvarra. And no, I don't know what the message in stones means either.
