Anyone interested in some fresh mackerel for breakfast should hurry down to the inner harbour in Galway tonight. A huge shoal of mackerel is trapped inside and already, plenty of fishermen are reaping the harvest. Picture is of another French sailing ship moored outside Sheridan's Bar in the harbour tonight.

Class shot - The colour of the sky, the lighting of the buildings, the reflections on the water and a pretty cool boat aswell.

Another great informative shot John. The dock appears very busy this morning. I see the Serenity has just arrived, and the scrap is being on loaded for transport. Also just saw the Independent.ie pic of the Sea Stallion in Dublin now too. Busy week for the boats n' folks it appears.

It's been a very busy week in the harbour. The Jeannie Johnson sits in the same spot as the French ship sat earlier in the week, there are a few trawlers moored in the harbour as well and I presume it is because of the cold weather that we have even more oil tankers than usual coming in and out. There are also a few hookers moored out at the Claddagh - the Cruinniu na mBad was on in Kinvarra last week. Lots to see!
