Lovely Leitrim?

It has been pointed out to me that Leitrim isn't well represented on the site here. As if that was a bad thing. Picture of a ghoul (aka the most cheerful man in Leitrim) at the old church at Fenagh.

I have lived in Leitrim for over forty years and feel qualified to enlighten your sad ignorance. What a shame , as I have been singing your praises regarding some of your work. I suggest you come to this lovely oasis and leave your ignorance behind you. Pity, you spoiled a lovely site which will not be visited again by the good people of Leitrim unless you embrace a little humility. Pentimento Sir. Pentemento!

Sorry, Noreen, it was meant to be a joke (you're not the first irate Leitrim woman to send me an email). I'll be spending the October holiday weekend in Leitrim, walking and taking photographs, so if you see someone wandering around the Drumahair area with a camera, tripod and chewing a large slice of humble pie, that would be me.

Of course, if it rains all weekend, I will blame you personally.
